Follow in the footsteps of canned food manufacturer Otto Bovik and embark on a salty adventure!

In the Northern Harbor of Lysekil, you will board the charming wooden boat Signe together with oyster and mussel grower Lars Marstone. Together, you will visit oyster banks where both Swedish oysters (Ostrea Edulis) and Pacific oysters (Crassostrea Gigas) are harvested.

On Kärringholmen, you will learn how to open oysters, taste the ocean's delicacies, and enjoy a freshly cooked mussel lunch with bread and drinks.

After the tour, a warming coffee drink awaits you at Fröken Fridhem's elegant bar.

You will stay in one of our charming rooms, and a fantastic two-course dinner will be served at our own bistro restaurant, Fröken Fridhem.

Please note:

The tours depart on Fridays and Saturdays at 12:30 and last about 2.5–3 hours. The tour departs from the Northern Harbor behind Publik Mat&Bar. We recommend arriving a few minutes early.
For groups of at least 6 people, other days can be booked.
The package can be booked upon request.

We reserve the right to cancel the tour in case of extreme weather conditions or if the tour is fully booked. We will, of course, contact affected guests as soon as possible after booking if the tour is fully booked.

Fixed Menu. You choose between two starters and two main course from a package menu. 

Children (ages 5-14) choose a main course from the children's menu (pre-booking required) and ice cream for dessert.
